When you support EW, you are supporting an organizztion that is dedicated to sharing knowledge of self-help. We have programs, events, and workshops geared to help women and families in need. We offer information on wellness as a whole mind-body-soul. Our programs offer wellness advocacy for anyone in crisis, in need of resources, or simply needing a voice.
About Us
EmpowHERful Woman (EW) was founded on December 24, 2019, from a vision rooted in wellness, empowerment, and community support. What began as a social space for connection has grown into a New York State registered organization and Community-Based Organization (CBO), dedicated to supporting women and families through accessible, community-centered care.

Today, we proudly relaunch in 2026, renewed with purpose and energy to continue uplifting and guiding our community. We provide advocacy, resources, and support to help individuals navigate health and social systems, connect to essential services, and build a strong foundation for overall well-being. EmpowHERful Woman operates as a non-clinical Community Health Care Network.
Through our workshops, programs, and community events, we create welcoming spaces where women and families can connect, grow, and feel supported. Our offerings are designed to meet real-life needs, from wellness and personal growth to resource navigation and community connection.
A key part of our work includes Patient Navigators, who provide guidance in understanding and accessing healthcare and social services. While we do not provide clinical or medical services, we offer informational support, helping individuals navigate systems, connect to resources, and make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

As we continue to grow, our approach expands to include self-awareness practices, holistic wellness, and intentional personal development, recognizing that true empowerment begins within and extends throughout the community.
Led by founder Desire, EmpowHERful Woman remains committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces that uplift, educate, and empower women in mind, body, and soul.
